The FiiO FT7 is a flagship open-back planar magnetic headphone that bridges grand speaker-like scale with microscopic detail retrieval. Utilizing massive 106mm full-size planar drivers, it features an ultra-lightweight 1µm PET diaphragm multi-layer coated with 24K gold and pure silver to combine rich, relaxed mid-low frequencies with smooth, hyper-detailed treble. Driven by a push-pull array of 18 high-performance N52 neodymium magnets optimized through a patented uniform magnetic field layout, it minimizes distortion and driver breakup across a vast soundstage. Despite its substantial driver architecture, the FT7 remains remarkably light at just 427g by implementing high-strength carbon fiber into its frame. Paired with open West African Zebrawood grilles and a cryogenic-treated 6N OCC monocrystalline copper cable, it offers everyday luxury comfort and an authoritative musical presence.
