Stepping away from the wooden, closed-back design of the original FT1, the Pro model adopts open metal-mesh grilles and a massive 95x86mm custom planar driver. Driven by a precise, uniform magnetic field and a 1µm ultra-thin diaphragm, it serves up a wide, three-dimensional soundstage with deep bass extension and remarkably crisp treble. With a highly efficient 20-ohm impedance layout, the FT1 Pro brings true desktop-tier planar resolution to portable DAC/amps and audio players, all while keeping long listening sessions fatigue-free via its adaptive 3-axis headband and breathable mesh ear pads.

At the heart of the FiiO FT1 Pro is a self-developed 95x86mm planar magnetic driver utilizing a groundbreaking 1µm ultra-thin PET diaphragm. Because it is exceptionally lightweight, the diaphragm responds with lightning-quick speed, allowing the headphones to faithfully reproduce subtle ultra-high frequency details and massive dynamic shifts with zero lag.
Sapphire & Aluminum Dual-Coating
The FT1 Pro utilizes a semiconductor-inspired, 28nm-grade dual-coating system applied directly to the driver substrate. A base layer of conductive aluminum drastically lowers the headphones’ impedance so they can be easily driven by portable gear, while a top layer of ultra-hard sapphire enhances treble resolution and rigidity to wipe out distortion.
